Plagiarism

Text documents are checked for borrowings by the journal editor in the Antiplagiat Expert system within three days of submission of the manuscript (in electronic form). As a result of the check, users receive a validation report. The report contains information on the sources and the match rates by source as well as detailed information on the parts of the checked document that were identified as matches. Upon identification, a matching text fragment of the source of the match and/or a link to the source (URL) is displayed. The document check provides the user with information that helps them to determine which part of the document was written by authors and which part is borrowed.

The acceptable percentage of fragments of the checked text that are considered as matches must not exceed 20% of the overall text. The acceptable percentage of fragments of the checked text that are considered as the original text must not be less than 40% of the overall text.
