Current research is aimed at determining the most effective inclusion rate of the feed mycotoxin adsorbent “ActivSorbent” in the diets of growing piglets. Scientific and economic evaluation was carried out at the industrial pig farming complex of LLC Tavla (Republic of Mordovia, Kochkurovsky District) in accordance with the established technological cycle. Experimental groups were formed using the method of paired analogs. Diets were worked out in the frame of the detailed nutritional standards of Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2003), taking into account the local feed resources to produce nutritional feedstuff [11]. Piglets in the control group were fed with complete feedstuff SK-4 (1 kg/head/day at 31-60 days of age, and 1.5 kg/head/day at 61-90 days of age). Animals in the experimental groups (groups I, II, and III) received the “ActivSorbent” adsorbent in addition to the usual diet at inclusion rates of 1.225, 1.750, and 2.275 kg/t of feed, respectively. It was noted that the optimal inclusion rate is 1.750 kg/t. At this inclusion rate, a significant improvement in mineral nutrient digestibility was observed compared to the control: dry matter (+3.76% digestibility), crude protein (+3.88%), crude fat (+5.28%), and crude fiber (+3.55%). Additionally, an increase in nitrogen retention (by 8.47% and 6.98%), calcium (by 8.95%), and phosphorus (by 5.79%) was recorded [9].
